The full product journey
Every phase iizu intends to explore, exactly how far along each part is, and none of the dates we cannot honestly promise.
Order can change. If testing shows people need something in Phase 3 before something in Phase 2, it moves.
Follow the route
The path gets lighter as the plan gets less settled. The words carry the same truth without relying on color or shape.
Phase 1
In developmentBuild the useful core: one assistant that can read a whole financial life and explain it back in plain language.
Phase 2
PlannedTurn financial literacy into something personal — lessons that can point at your own decisions instead of a hypothetical person's.
Phase 3
PlannedLet people learn how markets behave before any of their own money is involved.
Phase 4
FutureMake progress visible, so the boring parts of money keep happening after the novelty wears off.
Phase 5
Long-term visionExplore whether the place you learn about money and the place you spend it could be the same place.
Build the useful core: one assistant that can read a whole financial life and explain it back in plain language.
Everything marked as working runs against a local demonstration ledger. iizu does not contact a bank or an AI provider yet.
Sign-up, sign-in, password reset and profile repair run against Postgres with row-level security.
Merchant normalisation, duplicate removal, transfer and card-payment pairing, refund matching.
Search by merchant, category or note; filter by category.
Category breakdowns, month-over-month comparison and a spending forecast.
Recurring charges found in the ledger, with a confidence level and a price-increase check.
Derived from real patterns in the ledger, ranked, and explainable.
Charges well outside your own pattern are flagged with the reason.
"Can I afford this?" is answered against forecast cash, not a rule of thumb.
Sign-out clears local financial state; account data is owner-scoped in the database.
Answers today are composed by iizu's own analysis engine, not a language model. The model-backed version is being built behind an authenticated server function.
The account model, permissions and server boundary exist. No live provider connection is enabled, and the app currently runs on a demo ledger.
The engine already analyses checking, savings and card together. Choosing which accounts you are looking at is being built into the interface.
Turn financial literacy into something personal — lessons that can point at your own decisions instead of a hypothetical person's.
Only where you explicitly turn it on, and only for the accounts you choose.
Let people learn how markets behave before any of their own money is involved.
The Investing Lab is an educational simulator. It is not a brokerage account, it will not hold or trade real money, and simulated results do not predict real ones.
Only if a properly licensed market-data source is in place. Until then the Lab would run on clearly labelled demonstration prices.
Make progress visible, so the boring parts of money keep happening after the novelty wears off.
Designed to reward learning and steady action. Not to reward opening the app, chasing a loss, or feeling bad about a purchase.
Explore whether the place you learn about money and the place you spend it could be the same place.
Exploratory. Any of this would depend on banking partnerships, regulatory requirements, eligibility rules, parent or sponsor participation, and evidence that people actually want it. iizu is not a bank, does not hold deposits, and has no card programme.
